Recap:
It was a truly " STAR"-studded atmosphere for San Diego
Uncorked's June wine tasting event! The Southern Starz wines were a hit
with our members and so many of you inquired about where to find the
wine locally! You can always ask your local retailer to start stocking
Southern Starz wines
http://www.southernstarz.com, but in the meantime, you can go
straight to the source and order online yourself at
http://www.southernwines.com.
We had a special guest star at our tasting: Lindsay Pomeroy of Wine
Smarties
http://www.winesmarties.com who offered more structured optional
seminars on some of the red and white wines being tasted at the event
along with helpful tips for approaching wine tasting and wine buying.
And to top it all off, the Lafayette hotel & Spotlight Lounge offered
delicious finger foods, live guitar music and a spacious area throughout
the lobby and poolside veranda for the nearly 150 uncorked members to
mix and mingle under the stars. Thanks to the enormous turnout, the
event raised $1000 for charitable donations!
Many thanks to all the Uncorked Stars who contributed and attended this
successful event!
